Greetings,

Today, we take a brief moment to stop, breathe deep, and celebrate our Erin.  It was a year ago today that she tragically passed away.

Over the past year, our family has received so many notes of sympathy and heartfelt condolences.  As you might imagine, it is hard to describe in words the hole she left in our lives.  They say that time will help heal, and so that is what we hope for.  It is still a bit surreal.

A very common thread in all of the kind words about Erin, was that not only did she always light up the room, but that she made everyone feel like they were special and important.  That is absolutely one of the biggest things that we are proud of, and will remember most about her.  … Read More »

Diana Miller is our Finance Director.  We recently sat down with her to get to know her a little better.  Here’s what Diana had to say!

HH: What initially interested you about Senior Care/ Health Industry?

DM: I became interested in the field because I cared for my mother for several years and then brought in professional homecare to help out.  In my career I have worked as a CFO for a large Optometry Practice for 8 years, managed a government billing department consisting of 34 employees, lead the charity program at a large south bay hospital, managed several Orthopedic Surgeon practices, and was Project Manager at a medical software company which interfaced with all the EMR’s extracting data for government reporting for population health management.

Mark Winter, PresidentMark grew up in the Midwest surrounded by two things:  home health care, and marketing.  With a mother running large national and international home healthcare agencies, and a father immersed in branding and marketing, it was only fitting that he would pursue and earn a degree in Business Administration.  It was serendipitous that he returned to the States after some extensive international travels, just as his mother Lynn was jumping out of the corporate world to start her own senior care agency.  A partnership was born!

Now, more than twenty years later, Mark, Lynn and Erin continue working together day in and day out to provide not only the absolute best senior care services in our community, while also being the employer of choice for their amazing team of compassionate Caregivers.  In his spare time, you’ll find him on … Read More »

Erin Winter, VP of OperationsHomecare Director, Pleasanton

Some of Erin’s earliest childhood memories are of going on pro bono home health visits in rural North Carolina with her mom Lynn, then a home health RN.  Erin learned the profound effects that an extra touch, attention, a smile and hug have on elderly home-bound patients.  She also learned the wisdom they can impart to us when we take the time to listen.

Flash forward 20 years and Erin, Mark and Lynn are captaining their own homecare company and making a positive difference in people’s lives everyday, including our clients, their families, and our invaluable caregivers.  Erin is honored to have assisted thousands of families in navigating the often complex and difficult journey of eldercare.

Learning from and helping each individual she encounters is Erin’s passion.  She has stayed very involved in the local … Read More »
