Quality is key – especially when it comes to family.  In order to truly gauge the quality of our services, we contracted with Home Care Pulse, a national firm that closely measures Client and Employee Satisfaction in the caregiving industry.  Our dedication to quality standards earned us their designation, Certified – Trusted Provider.  Hundreds of our clients, their  families, and our amazing caregivers have been contacted by Home Care Pulse to answer a brief survey regarding our quality of service.

Wendy is super compassionate and really committed to Hired Hands and her clients. She has a history of making herself available when we need help at the last minute, which is extremely appreciated!   She is very dedicated to her clients and revolves around their particular needs. Not only is she extremely flexible, but she has a wide variety of skills, and is particularly well versed at working with seniors in dementia and hospice settings.

It’s that time of year where a warm & tasty bowl of healthy soup just soothes the soul!  This recipe is quick and easy, and can be adapted easily to suit particular tastes.  On top of that… The Health Quotient is high, and the calorie count pretty low.  Give it a try, and let us know what you think!

Caregivers perform an amazing variety of tasks on a daily basis.  Client’s needs and demands vary, and we very much appreciate your hard work.  We understand that it keeps you very busy.  So busy, that sometimes you may forget fundamental safety work practices. Thus, we wanted to provide some simple information especially for you so that you can refresh, learn and work safely each and every day.  

Hired Hands Homecare is pleased to announce our new Caregiving Academy – an amazing and innovative training platform that will be rolled out very soon.  We will be utilizing the powers of the internet and interactive video to provide information, education, and valuable tools all specifically related to the art of caregiving.  

Greetings!  We are thrilled to say that we are extremely busy!  Due, in no small part, to the excellence of our Team!  We cannot thank you enough for all your dedication and hard work!

Every day, hundreds of people throughout the Bay Area go hungry.  This Holiday Season, we reached out to those around us, accepting gracious donations toward local Food Banks.  After all, every little bit helps!

In Marin, our office connected with the SF/Marin Food Bank.  More information can be found at www.sfmfoodbank.org.  In Napa, our partner was the Napa Valley Food Bank.  In Sonoma, we joined with the Redwood Empire Food Bank (www.refb.org).  In the Pleasanton/Tri-Valley area, we worked with Open Heart Kitchen (www.OpenHeartKitchen.org).

A HUGE THANK YOU goes out to all of the amazing folks that were so generous in their contributions!   Our collective donations far exceeded our expectations, and we’re proud to reach out and help others in our communities!
